Vervoe pricing and Vervoe cost compared with assessment and AI interview tools that publish a price

The short answer

Vervoe does not publish a price anymore, so there is no public Vervoe pricing or cost per candidate to quote. When we checked on October 5, 2026, vervoe.com/pricing carried one Request pricing button, a list of enterprise features and no plan names or dollar figures in the page text or source. The Pay and Go, Starter and Growth tiers that many roundups still list were not on the page. If you want a published number to compare against, InterviewAgent.ai runs a scored AI first-round interview by voice or video from $149 a month for up to 100 interviews.

Vervoe built its name on skills assessments: job simulations a candidate completes before anyone reads a resume, graded by machine learning and ranked automatically. It has since added cognitive tests, an AI Assessment Builder, a chat-based AI Screening Agent and interview scheduling with interviewer prep. Our own product runs the AI first-round interview, which is a different job from a skills test, so we have an interest here and we say so up front.

What changed in 2026 is the pricing page. Vervoe used to sell small self-serve plans, and a lot of the pages that rank for this query still describe them. On October 5, 2026 the page we read had moved to enterprise-only selling: one Request pricing button, a Book a demo button and no tiers. This page sets out exactly what Vervoe publishes today, explains how a Vervoe quote is likely to be built, and compares twelve hiring tools with every published figure dated. Where we infer something, we say it is an inference.

Why it works

What your team gets with Vervoe pricing

Priced in public

Plans are published at $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month, or half that billed yearly, so you can work out cost per interview before a demo.

A real first-round interview

The agent asks open questions by voice or video, follows up when an answer is thin, and scores each one against your rubric, not a yes or no knockout.

Short enough to finish

A 10 to 15 minute conversation on the candidate's schedule, so strong applicants finish it before you send the longer work sample.

What it handles

Interviewed, scored and shortlisted on autopilot

The agent invites each applicant, runs a role-tailored screening interview by voice or video, asks smart follow-ups, scores every answer against your rubric, and advances the strongest candidates into a ranked shortlist for your recruiters to review.

  • Interviews every applicant by voice or video on the candidate's schedule
  • Asks follow-up questions when an answer is vague or a claim needs testing
  • Scores every answer against anchors your team wrote, identically for each candidate
  • Returns a ranked shortlist with transcripts your recruiters can check in minutes
  • Publishes what it costs instead of quoting you after a discovery call

Why InterviewAgent.ai

One agent that runs the whole first round

Not a one-way video tool, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Interview, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the roles and rubric you already hire on.

Interviews every applicant

A role-tailored screening interview runs by voice or video, with smart follow-ups, on the candidate's schedule. Applicants consent and are told they are speaking with AI, so no qualified person waits days for a first call.

Scores to your rubric

Every answer is scored against the same structured rubric, with transcripts and highlights, so candidates are compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited against EEOC guidance and NYC Local Law 144.

Ranks the shortlist

The strongest candidates are advanced into a ranked shortlist your recruiters review. The agent never auto-hires or rejects, it only surfaces who to talk to next, and your team makes every decision.

Ten of the twelve vendors publish a price on their own site and two do not. We print a figure only when we read it on the vendor's own pages on the date shown, and rows we did not re-read today keep their earlier date on purpose. A vendor-by-vendor buying guide is in our article on Vervoe alternatives.

How much does Vervoe cost?

Vervoe does not say. On October 5, 2026 the pricing page opened with the heading Pricing built for skills-first hiring at scale, one button labeled Request pricing, and a block titled Enterprise ready listing single sign-on, regional data storage, a guaranteed uptime SLA, priority support SLAs, generative AI detection, explainable AI grading and GDPR compliance. Below that sat a Book a demo form and an offer of API and white-label workflows for enterprise customers. There were no plan names, no candidate allowances and no dollar figures anywhere on the page, in the rendered text or in the source.

So the honest answer to how much does Vervoe cost is that nobody outside a sales conversation can tell you today. Any number you see on a review site is either an estimate Vervoe has not confirmed or a leftover from the plans it used to sell. Both are worth less than a quote, and neither is a reason to skip asking for one.

The page itself is the strongest clue to the price band. Everything it lists, SSO, regional hosting, uptime and support SLAs, white-label workflows, is what large employers buy. Vervoe's customer stories point the same way: a bank, an insurer, a national sports league, a logistics network and an accounting firm. A team that hires five people a year is not who this pricing page is written for.

Does Vervoe still sell Pay and Go, Starter or Growth plans?

Not on its own website. Several pricing roundups that rank for this query still describe self-serve tiers with monthly figures from $19 to $399, under names such as Pay and Go, Starter, Growth and Professional. None of those plan names and none of those figures appeared on vervoe.com/pricing when we read it on October 5, 2026. The word Professional appears on the page only in the navigation, as Professional Roles and Professional Services.

If a roundup quotes you a Vervoe plan, check its date and ask Vervoe directly whether that plan is still sold to new customers. Legacy plans sometimes survive for existing accounts after a vendor stops selling them, so a colleague at another company may genuinely pay one of those figures. That does not mean you can buy it.

  • No published price: vervoe.com/pricing is a Request pricing button, read October 5, 2026
  • No Pay and Go, Starter, Growth or Professional plan appears on the page
  • Third-party figures from $19 to $399 a month describe plans Vervoe no longer lists
  • The page lists enterprise features: SSO, regional data storage, uptime and support SLAs
  • API and white-label workflows are offered to enterprise customers

How does Vervoe pricing work?

Vervoe does not state its pricing unit in public, so this is inference from what the page and product pages say. Assessment vendors usually price on how many candidates you invite to a test in a year, sometimes with a separate charge for custom-built assessments. Vervoe sells several modules on top of the assessment itself: the AI Assessment Builder, the chat AI Screening Agent, interview scheduling and interviewer prep, skills advisory and an API. The likeliest structure is a candidate volume commitment plus the modules you switch on.

The AI Screening Agent page supports that reading. It says employers can toggle the agent per assessment, with a clear Talk to Sales prompt for everything outside your plan. That is the language of a plan with an allowance and paid features above it. Ask exactly which modules your quote includes, how many candidates the commitment covers, whether unused volume rolls over, and what an extra assessed candidate costs once you pass the allowance.

Then ask about the services line. Vervoe says most teams are live within days and that its onboarding team helps configure custom assessments, integrations and access controls for enterprise rollouts. Find out whether custom assessment design and onboarding are inside the subscription or billed once.

Does Vervoe offer a free trial?

Not a self-serve one that we could find. On October 5, 2026 the pricing page offered Request pricing, Book a demo and Talk to sales, and the words trial and free did not appear on it. An evaluation therefore starts with a sales call and, if it goes well, a scoped pilot.

Run that pilot like a purchase. Pick one role with enough applicants to matter, agree the pass bar with the hiring manager before anyone takes the test, and compare the ranking against your recruiters' own verdict on the same people. Track completion too. A 45-minute job simulation asks far more of a candidate than a 10-minute screening conversation, and the strongest applicants are often the ones with the least patience for long tests. If you want to see a scored first round before any call, the interview agent at the top of this page runs one on a role you name and returns the transcript, the scores and the ranking.

Is the Vervoe AI Screening Agent an AI interviewer?

Not in the sense most buyers mean. Vervoe describes it as an always-on agent that reads every application, scores fit and explains why. On the candidate side it is a chat assistant that greets the applicant by name, asks your screening questions one at a time, such as work authorization, salary range, required certification and minimum age, then shows a pass or fail in the chat and hands passing candidates to the full assessment. Employers can edit the pass and fail messages, up to 1,000 characters each, and recruiters get the full chat log on every candidate card.

That is a knockout screen in front of a skills test, and it is useful for that. It is not a spoken first-round interview that asks open questions, follows up on thin answers and scores them against a rubric. If what you are trying to replace is the 20-minute recruiter phone screen, compare Vervoe with tools that conduct that conversation. On our own plans an AI interview costs $1.49 on Starter, $0.80 on Growth and about $0.50 on Scale, and how each answer is scored is set out on interview scorecard software.

Vervoe also cites its own results: 67% fewer interviews per hire, 80% accuracy for its AI grading, and customer figures such as 2,340 recruiter hours saved a year. Those are Vervoe's numbers, not independent ones, so ask how each was measured. None of them tells you the price.

How much do skills assessment platforms cost?

Among the assessment vendors that publish a price, the spread on October 5, 2026 was wide. Adaface sells credits by the year: Starter is $500 for 50 credits, Pro $900 for 100, Scale $3,000 for 500 and Growth $5,500 for 1,000, where one candidate costs one credit and a ready-made test costs five. TestGorilla prices assessments per account, with Core from $215 a month and Plus from $520 a month billed annually. Truffle, which mixes resume matching, short assessments and one-way interviews from one credit pool, runs from $49 a month on Starter to $499 a month billed annually on Scale.

The comparison that matters is cost per assessed candidate at your real volume, not the entry price. Adaface's Scale plan works out to about $6 per candidate before test fees. Truffle says an assessed candidate costs about 25 to 50 cents on its plans. A quote from Vervoe or iMocha should be turned into the same unit before you compare it with anything.

  • Adaface: $500, $900, $3,000, $5,500 and $20,000 a year for 50 to 5,000 credits
  • TestGorilla: Assessments Core from $215 and Plus from $520 a month, billed annually
  • Truffle: $49 a month on Starter, then $99, $199 and $499 a month billed annually
  • Vervoe and iMocha: not published

What are the alternatives to Vervoe with published pricing?

It depends on what you use Vervoe for. If the job is a work-sample test before the interview, TestGorilla, Adaface and Truffle all print a price and do that job. If the job is the first conversation with every applicant, the screen a recruiter used to run by phone, then the comparison is with AI interviewers that publish a price: Classet from $249 a month, HappyFleet from $149, InterviewFlowAI from $59 plus credits, and us at $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month. A vendor-by-vendor guide is in our article on Vervoe alternatives.

Many teams end up with one of each, and that is a reasonable design. A short scored interview tells you whether a candidate can explain their experience and is worth more time. A work sample tells you whether they can do the task. Running the cheaper of the two first, on everyone, saves the expensive one for the people who passed. If you hire into many roles and want a ranked shortlist from the first step, compare the field on AI interview software and candidate screening software.

Our own plans are on the pricing page, with the interview count in every tier, monthly or yearly.

How do you negotiate a Vervoe contract?

Anchor first. Before the call, count how many candidates you assessed last year, how many you expect to assess next year and how many of those reached an interview. Then price the same volume on two vendors from the table above, so a single quoted figure becomes a comparison you control.

Get six things in writing: the unit (per candidate, per assessment or a flat fee), the committed volume and what happens to unused volume, which modules are included and which are add-ons, whether custom assessment design and onboarding are billed, which ATS connectors are in the base price, and the renewal uplift. Those six turn a demo quote into a three-year number.

Finally, check the duties that stay with you as the employer. Vervoe says it is ISO 27001:2022 certified, GDPR compliant, aligned with US data privacy frameworks, and hosts on AWS with data storage options in the US, the EU or Australia. Ask for US hosting in the contract if your candidates are American. Those controls cover Vervoe. If its grading ranks candidates you hire in New York City, Local Law 144 still requires your own annual independent bias audit and candidate notice. Our page on AI hiring compliance lists what to ask any vendor, Vervoe included.

Good questions

Questions about Vervoe pricing

No. On October 5, 2026 vervoe.com/pricing showed a Request pricing button, a list of enterprise features and a Book a demo form, with no plan names and no dollar figures in the page text or source. Pricing is quoted by the sales team.
Not on Vervoe's website. The Pay and Go, Starter and Growth plans that some roundups still list did not appear on the pricing page on October 5, 2026. Existing customers may keep legacy plans, so ask Vervoe directly what a new account can buy.
We found no self-serve trial. The pricing page offered Request pricing, Book a demo and Talk to sales, and did not mention a trial. Expect an evaluation to start with a demo and a scoped pilot rather than a sign-up form.
Partly. Vervoe says video is one of many question types inside its assessments, alongside coding challenges, written answers, multiple choice and simulations. Its AI Screening Agent is a chat, not a spoken interview, and its scheduling module books live interviews your team runs.
Vervoe's trust page names ISO 27001:2022 certification, GDPR compliance and alignment with US data privacy frameworks, with 124 controls tracked on its trust center. Ask for the reports you need during procurement rather than assuming any certification it does not name.
For skills tests, Adaface starts at $500 a year and Truffle at $49 a month. For a scored first-round interview by voice or video, InterviewAgent.ai starts at $149 a month for up to 100 interviews, with every price published.
