Terms of service
The terms that govern your use of InterviewAgent.ai, the AI interview agent that runs first-round screening interviews and returns a ranked, rubric-scored shortlist for your team to review. Last updated: June 2026.
Acceptance of these terms
By using interviewagent.ai or signing up for InterviewAgent.ai, you agree to these terms of service. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Any production use of InterviewAgent.ai is also governed by the specific agreement and onboarding documentation established with each customer, which prevails over these website terms where they differ.
What InterviewAgent.ai is
InterviewAgent.ai is an AI interview agent that conducts first-round screening interviews over voice and video. It asks role-tailored, structured questions, asks smart follow-ups, scores answers against a consistent rubric, and returns transcripts, highlights and a ranked shortlist for your recruiters to review.
The service is decision-support. It does not hire or reject anyone. Its output supports your team, and a qualified person at your organization reviews the results and makes every hiring decision. You remain responsible for your hiring process, for the criteria you choose, and for how you communicate with candidates.
Your responsibilities
When you use InterviewAgent.ai, you agree that you will:
- Obtain each candidate's consent before they are interviewed, and provide clear disclosure that the interview is conducted by an AI interviewer.
- Comply with all employment laws that apply to you, including equal employment opportunity requirements under the EEOC's guidance and New York City Local Law 144 on automated employment decision tools, including any required bias audit and candidate notice.
- Keep a human in the loop. You will have a qualified person review the agent's output and make every hiring decision. You will not use the service to make automated hiring or rejection decisions.
- Provide accurate information, configure interviews fairly, and only use candidate data you have the right to use.
Acceptable use
InterviewAgent.ai is intended for legitimate hiring use by employers and their recruiters screening candidates for real roles. You agree to use the service responsibly and to comply with all applicable laws, professional standards and codes of conduct.
You agree not to use the service to:
- Make automated, final hiring or rejection decisions without human review.
- Discriminate against candidates or evaluate them on anything other than job-related criteria.
- Interview candidates who have not been given AI disclosure and have not consented.
- Submit data you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.
- Resell or redistribute the service except under a written agreement with us.
Your content and data
As between you and us, you keep all rights to the data you submit and to the interview outputs you receive. You grant us only the limited permission needed to provide the service to you. Our handling of candidate and interview data, including AI disclosure, consent, fairness practices, retention and security, is described in our privacy policy. This marketing website does not conduct real interviews, and you should not submit candidate records through it.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep any credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or access has been used without your permission.
Plans, billing and refunds
InterviewAgent.ai is offered on paid plans. All prices and charges are in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the term you choose, until cancelled in line with your agreement. Except where required by law or stated in your agreement, payments are non-refundable. The specific commercial terms for your organization are set out in your order or agreement with us, which controls where it differs from this section.
Service availability
We work to keep InterviewAgent.ai available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or temporarily suspend features to maintain and improve the service. Service levels for a production deployment, where applicable, are set out in your agreement.
Intellectual property
InterviewAgent.ai, including its software, models, interface, content and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms and your agreement. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the service except as expressly permitted. The names of other companies and products referenced on this site are used for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The AI interview agent supports your hiring process, but we do not warrant that it is error-free, that its scores or rankings are perfectly accurate, or that any particular candidate, hire or outcome will result. Scores and rankings are decision-support inputs that a person must review. You are responsible for your hiring decisions and for legal compliance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewAgent.ai and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, unless your agreement provides otherwise.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time, subject to your agreement. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to candidates, others or the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where your customer agreement specifies otherwise.
