Hireflix pricing and Hireflix cost per month compared with 10 video and AI interview tools
The short answer
Hireflix pricing is $75 a month billed yearly for companies under 50 employees and $150 a month billed yearly for 50 to 250 employees, which is $900 and $1,800 a year. Month to month, the same two plans cost $150 and $300, because the yearly price is half the monthly one. Larger companies, agencies and high-volume teams get a custom quote. Both published plans include unlimited seats, positions and interview responses, all features and a one-month free trial. We read these figures from hireflix.com/pricing on October 13, 2026. What Hireflix sells is the recording: candidates answer fixed questions on video and your team watches and rates every answer.
Hireflix is one of the simplest and cheapest one-way video interview tools on the market. You write the questions, send candidates a link, they record their answers on their own time, and your team reviews the videos and rates them. There are no seat limits on the published plans, which is unusual, and every feature is in every plan.
That makes the pricing easy to read once you find both numbers. The page leads with the yearly price, and the monthly price only appears behind a toggle, which is why roundups quote two different sets of figures for the same plans. This page sets out both, explains what each plan includes and leaves out, and compares Hireflix cost with ten other interview tools, each figure read from the vendor's own site on the date shown. We build one of those tools, an AI agent that conducts and scores the first-round interview, so treat that as a disclosed interest.

Why it works
What your team gets with Hireflix pricing
Priced in public
Plans are published at $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month, or half that billed yearly, so you can compare us with Hireflix before any call.
The interview, conducted
The agent asks the questions, follows up on thin answers and scores each one against your rubric, so nobody has to watch every recording.
A recruiter makes the call
Every candidate reaches a recruiter with a transcript and the evidence behind each score. The agent never rejects anyone on its own.
What it handles
Interviewed, scored and shortlisted on autopilot
The agent invites each applicant, runs a role-tailored screening interview by voice or video, asks smart follow-ups, scores every answer against your rubric, and advances the strongest candidates into a ranked shortlist for your recruiters to review.
- Interviews every applicant by voice, video or in writing, on the candidate's schedule
- Asks follow-up questions when an answer is vague, which a recorded question cannot do
- Scores every answer against anchors your team wrote, identically for each candidate
- Returns a ranked shortlist with transcripts your recruiters can check in minutes
- Costs about 66 cents to $1.49 per conducted interview on published plans
Why InterviewAgent.ai
One agent that runs the whole first round
Not a one-way video tool, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Interview, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the roles and rubric you already hire on.
Interviews every applicant
A role-tailored screening interview runs by voice or video, with smart follow-ups, on the candidate's schedule. Applicants consent and are told they are speaking with AI, so no qualified person waits days for a first call.
Scores to your rubric
Every answer is scored against the same structured rubric, with transcripts and highlights, so candidates are compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited against EEOC guidance and NYC Local Law 144.
Ranks the shortlist
The strongest candidates are advanced into a ranked shortlist your recruiters review. The agent never auto-hires or rejects, it only surfaces who to talk to next, and your team makes every decision.

Eight of the eleven vendors publish a price on their own site and three do not. Hireflix is the cheapest published plan here for a team that only needs to collect recorded answers, and the only one with unlimited seats at that price. Read across the last column before comparing totals: a recording tool and an AI interviewer are not the same purchase, because one leaves every answer for your team to watch and the other hands you scored candidates. How much does Hireflix cost?
Hireflix costs $75 a month for companies with fewer than 50 employees and $150 a month for companies with 50 to 250 employees, when you pay for a year up front. That is $900 and $1,800 a year. Companies above 250 employees, recruitment agencies and high-volume processes are sent to a Custom plan, priced on a call. We read all of this on hireflix.com/pricing on October 13, 2026.
The plan is set by your company size, not by how many people you interview or how many recruiters log in. A 40-person company pays the Small price whether it interviews ten candidates a year or several hundred a month. That is the opposite of most tools in this table, which charge by interview, credit, seat or role.
Is Hireflix monthly or annual?
Both. The Hireflix monthly price is $150 for Small and $300 for Medium, and the yearly price is half that. The pricing page shows the yearly price by default and a toggle reading "Save 50%". The monthly option carries the line "Cancel any time", and its figures sit in the plan data the page loads rather than in the default view, which is why third-party sites disagree: some print the yearly price and some print the monthly one.
The practical question is how long you will hire. Billed monthly, three months of Small costs $450; a year up front costs $900. If you hire in one burst, such as a seasonal intake or a single graduate program, monthly can be cheaper. If you interview all year, the Hireflix annual plan halves the bill.
- Hireflix Small plan, under 50 employees: $75 a month billed yearly ($900), or $150 month to month
- Hireflix Medium plan, 50 to 250 employees: $150 a month billed yearly ($1,800), or $300 month to month
- Custom, corporates, agencies and high volume: quote only
- NGOs and companies started in the last two years: 20% off the first year, on request
What does each Hireflix plan include?
All Hireflix plans include every feature, and the visible pricing page lists unlimited user seats, unlimited positions and unlimited interview responses on Small and Medium. The plan data behind the page also carries a candidates-per-month value of 5,000 on both plans, which no team on these plans is likely to reach but is worth asking about if you run a large intake.
The features are what you would expect from a mature one-way tool: branded interviews with a custom intro and outro video, per-question settings such as thinking time and retakes, bulk invitations, email, SMS and WhatsApp invitation templates, sharing an interview with a hiring manager, rating answers, automatic video transcription, Slack notifications and single sign-on. Hireflix also says it is SOC 2 compliant.
- ATS integrations: Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, BambooHR, Teamtailor, JazzHR, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, Recruiterflow, Zoho Recruit and Manatal
- Automation: Zapier and Make
- Candidate invitations by email, SMS and WhatsApp
- Team review: sharing, ratings and automatic transcription
Does Hireflix have a free trial?
Yes. The Hireflix free trial lasts one month: Small and Medium both carry a "Try free for 1 month" button, and the page header reads "Get Your First Month Free". The page does not say whether a card is needed to start or what the plan converts to when the month ends, so check the checkout screen before you invite real candidates.
Use the trial on a live role rather than a test one. The useful measurement is not whether candidates can record, they can, but how many hours your team spends watching the answers in that month. That number is the real cost of a recording tool, and it does not appear on any pricing page.
Does Hireflix use AI to score candidates?
Not on its public pages. Hireflix describes itself as a one-way video interview platform and says it focuses on one-way interviews rather than live ones. Its feature list includes automatic transcription and rating answers, and the rating is done by your team. We found no AI scoring, AI summaries or AI interviewer on the homepage or the pricing page on October 13, 2026.
That is a deliberate product choice, and for some teams it is the right one. If your process requires a person to watch every answer, Hireflix gives you that at a low fixed price. If the reason you are buying is that nobody has time to watch, a recording tool moves the work rather than removing it, and you are really shopping for an AI video interview tool that conducts and scores the round.
What does Hireflix really cost per candidate?
The subscription is the small part. On the Small plan billed yearly, 100 candidates a month works out to 75 cents each. The larger cost is review time. Suppose each candidate records five answers of about two minutes, which is a common setup; that is ten minutes of footage per candidate, or roughly 17 hours of watching for 100 candidates, before anyone writes notes or compares ratings. Change the numbers to your own interview, but the shape holds.
An AI interviewer prices differently because it does the watching. On our yearly Starter plan, $888 a year for up to 100 interviews a month, the cost is about 74 cents a conducted and scored interview, close to the Hireflix Small price, and your team reads a ranked shortlist with transcripts instead of the footage. Hireflix gives you unlimited seats where we include two on Starter, so a large panel of reviewers is one place Hireflix is plainly cheaper.
- Hireflix Small, yearly: $75 a month, unlimited responses, your team reviews every video
- Hireflix Small, monthly: $150 a month, same plan, cancel any time
- InterviewAgent.ai Starter, yearly: $74 a month for up to 100 interviews conducted and scored
- InterviewAgent.ai Starter, monthly: $149 a month for the same 100 interviews
Spark Hire vs Hireflix on price
Spark Hire vs Hireflix is the closest like-for-like comparison in one-way video, and on price Hireflix wins clearly. Spark Hire video interviewing costs $249 a month billed annually, or $299 month to month with caps of five jobs and five users, as read on October 8, 2026. Hireflix Medium is $150 a month billed yearly for a company of up to 250 people, with no seat or position limit.
Spark Hire adds live video interviews and sits next to its own Recruit ATS, so a team that wants one vendor for scheduling, live calls and one-way rounds may find the extra cost worth it. The plan-by-plan detail is on our Spark Hire pricing page, and the wider field is on Spark Hire competitors.
What is a Hireflix alternative that conducts the interview?
If the goal is to stop watching recordings, look at tools where an AI asks the questions and scores the answers. Among those with a price on the page, InterviewAgent.ai starts at $149 a month or $888 a year for up to 100 interviews, Ribbon AI at $499 a month billed annually, Interviewer.AI at $199 a month, Fabric at $199 a month and Classet, which interviews by phone, at $249 a month billed annually for 50 completed interviews.
Our agent interviews each candidate by voice, video or in writing, asks follow-up questions when an answer is thin, scores every answer against anchors your team wrote and attaches the transcript quote behind each score. A recruiter makes every decision; the agent never rejects anyone on its own. For a side-by-side of switching from Hireflix, see our Hireflix alternative page.
