Classet pricing and Classet cost per interview compared with 10 AI and video interview tools
The short answer
Classet pricing starts at $249 a month billed annually for the Starter plan, which includes 50 completed AI phone interviews a month, and $999 a month billed annually for Scale, which includes 250. Month to month, the same plans cost $349 and $1,399. Extra interviews cost $5 each on Starter and $4 on Scale, and Enterprise starts from $1,995 a month with ATS Sync. Job ads are not included. We read these figures on classet.ai/pricing on October 14, 2026. Classet's AI recruiter, Joy, phones each applicant, so the price buys a conducted phone screen rather than a recording.
Classet sells an AI recruiter called Joy that calls hourly and frontline applicants, asks the screening questions, and sends the strong ones a link to book an interview. It is built for employers who hire drivers, technicians, warehouse staff and tradespeople in volume, and it publishes its prices, which most AI interviewing vendors in this space do not.
That makes Classet cost easy to read once you know three rules: the annual price is about 29% below the monthly one, a plan includes a fixed number of completed interviews before overage starts, and advertising is billed separately. This page sets out each plan, what Classet counts as an interview, what is sold as an add-on, and how the price per interview compares with ten other tools, each figure read from the vendor's own site on the date shown. We build one of those tools, an AI agent that interviews and scores candidates by phone, voice or video, so treat that as a disclosed interest.

Why it works
What your team gets with Classet pricing
Priced in public
Plans are published at $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month, or half that billed yearly, so you can set our cost per interview next to Classet's before any call.
The agent calls the candidate
An outbound phone screen from your own verified number, inside the candidate's daytime hours, with the AI and the recording disclosed before the first question.
A recruiter makes the call
Every candidate reaches a recruiter with a transcript and the evidence behind each score. The agent never rejects anyone on its own.
What it handles
Interviewed, scored and shortlisted on autopilot
The agent invites each applicant, runs a role-tailored screening interview by voice or video, asks smart follow-ups, scores every answer against your rubric, and advances the strongest candidates into a ranked shortlist for your recruiters to review.
- Calls each applicant from your company's verified number, or interviews by voice, video or in writing from a link
- Asks follow-up questions when an answer about a license, a shift or a past job is vague
- Scores every answer against anchors your team wrote, identically for each candidate
- Returns a ranked shortlist with transcripts your recruiters can check in minutes
- Costs about 66 cents to $1.49 per conducted interview on published plans
Why InterviewAgent.ai
One agent that runs the whole first round
Not a one-way video tool, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Interview, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the roles and rubric you already hire on.
Interviews every applicant
A role-tailored screening interview runs by voice or video, with smart follow-ups, on the candidate's schedule. Applicants consent and are told they are speaking with AI, so no qualified person waits days for a first call.
Scores to your rubric
Every answer is scored against the same structured rubric, with transcripts and highlights, so candidates are compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited against EEOC guidance and NYC Local Law 144.
Ranks the shortlist
The strongest candidates are advanced into a ranked shortlist your recruiters review. The agent never auto-hires or rejects, it only surfaces who to talk to next, and your team makes every decision.

Eight of the eleven vendors print a price and three sell by quote. Classet is one of only a few tools that both phones the applicant and publishes what that costs, which is why it shows up on so many hourly-hiring shortlists. Compare the second column against the third before comparing totals: the plans include very different numbers of interviews. For the wider phone field see AI phone screening.
How much does Classet cost?
Classet costs $249 a month on the Starter plan and $999 a month on the Scale plan when billed annually, which is $2,988 and $11,988 a year. Month to month, Starter is $349 and Scale is $1,399. Enterprise starts from $1,995 a month and is scoped on a discovery call. We read all of this on classet.ai/pricing on October 14, 2026, and the homepage carries the same $249 and $349 figures.
Classet plans are sized by completed interviews, not by seats or jobs. Starter includes 50 completed interviews a month for a single location, with unlimited jobs and seats. Scale includes 250 a month and adds multiple locations, white-label branding, API access and priority support. Enterprise adds ATS Sync across what Classet says are 95+ ATS platforms, custom field mapping, SSO, role-based access, SOC 2 Type II and a dedicated success manager.
- Classet Starter plan: $249 a month billed annually, or $349 month to month, 50 completed interviews, then $5.00 each
- Classet Scale plan: $999 a month billed annually, or $1,399 month to month, 250 completed interviews, then $4.00 each
- Classet Enterprise: from $1,995 a month, volume scoped on a call, overage included, ATS Sync included
Is Classet billed monthly or annually?
Both. Classet says annual billing is about 29% cheaper than month to month on Starter and Scale, and that an annual plan commits you for the year. Month to month has no contract and can be cancelled at any time. On Starter, the difference is $1,200 a year: $2,988 billed annually against $4,188 paid monthly.
The choice turns on how steady your hiring is. A seasonal employer that screens heavily for three months pays $1,047 on monthly Starter, against $2,988 for an annual commitment. A business that hires every week of the year is better off on the annual rate, as long as 50 interviews a month really is enough, because overage is billed on top.
What counts as an interview on Classet?
Classet bills a completed screen, or a conversation that lasts longer than five minutes. Its pricing FAQ says no-answers, voicemails and retries are not counted and are called back at no cost. That is a fair rule for phone screening, where many first attempts go unanswered, and it means the plan allowance is spent only on applicants who actually talk to Joy.
When you pass the included volume, Joy keeps screening and the extra interviews are billed with your next invoice at $5 each on Starter or $4 on Scale. Classet notes that moving up a tier can be cheaper if you regularly go over, and the arithmetic agrees: a Starter account that completes 150 interviews a month pays $249 plus $500 of overage, $749 in total, which is close to Scale before you even count Scale's lower overage rate.
Does Classet have a free trial?
Yes. The Classet free trial includes 20 completed interviews and needs a card at signup. According to the pricing page, the account converts to the Starter plan if you do not cancel before the trial ends, and nothing is charged before then. Every plan also starts with those 20 free interviews.
Run the trial on a live role with real applicants. Twenty conversations is enough to hear how Joy handles your knockout questions and to see how many applicants book the interview it offers. Check which plan and billing period the card converts to before the twentieth interview completes, because the default is Starter.
What is not included in Classet pricing?
Advertising is the largest item. Classet's FAQ says subscriptions cover interviews only and that ad costs are separate, with Indeed posting supported through a connected account. A trades employer spending a few hundred dollars a month on sponsored jobs should add that to the comparison, because some rivals bundle job distribution and some do not.
Classet also lists add-ons that are priced separately and carry no figure on the page: scheduling, a unique phone number, custom SMS flows, SSO, additional languages and custom data and analytics dashboards. API access is an add-on on Starter and included on Scale and Enterprise. Ask for every add-on you need in writing before you compare Classet AI pricing with a tool that includes those items in the plan.
- Job ad spend: billed by the job board, not by Classet
- Add-ons without a published price: scheduling, unique phone number, custom SMS flows, SSO, additional languages, custom dashboards
- ATS Sync: Enterprise only, from $1,995 a month
- API access: included from Scale
What does Classet cost per interview?
On an annual plan used to its allowance, Classet costs about $4.98 per completed interview on Starter ($249 for 50) and $4.00 on Scale ($999 for 250). Month to month, Starter works out to about $6.98 and Scale to about $5.60. Classet's own FAQ gives the same $4.00 and $5.00 figures. These are low numbers next to a recruiter's time on a 15-minute phone screen, and Classet's case is built on that comparison.
Against other AI interviewers, the per-interview price is where Classet is easiest to beat. Our yearly Starter plan is $888 for up to 100 interviews a month, about 74 cents each, and our yearly Growth plan is $2,388 for up to 300 a month, about 66 cents. HappyFleet's Starter is $149 a month for 20, about $7.45. Read the Classet price per interview alongside what the plan includes, because Classet bundles a hiring hub, unlimited seats and a booking flow that a lower price does not automatically replace.
- Classet Starter, annual: $249 a month for 50 completed phone interviews, about $4.98 each
- Classet Scale, annual: $999 a month for 250, about $4.00 each
- InterviewAgent.ai Starter, yearly: $74 a month for up to 100 interviews, about 74 cents each
- InterviewAgent.ai Growth, yearly: $199 a month for up to 300 interviews, about 66 cents each
Where Classet is the better buy
Classet does several things we do not, and a frontline employer should weigh them honestly. It runs Call to Apply, a hiring phone number that applicants can ring from a truck decal or a jobsite sign and that Joy answers around the clock. It posts to Indeed through a connected account, texts strong candidates a booking link for a group or one-on-one interview, and ships a hiring hub, so a business with no applicant tracking system gets one with the plan. Its Enterprise tier syncs with a long list of ATS platforms. Our agent places the outbound call; it does not answer an inbound hiring line, and it does not post jobs.
Our own phone screen works like this: a recruiter adds a candidate with a US or Canadian number, the agent calls from the company's own verified number between 8 am and 9 pm in the candidate's time zone, says up front that it is an AI and that the call is recorded, and starts only when the candidate presses 1. It retries up to three times. Each answer is transcribed, followed up when it is thin and scored against anchors your team wrote, with the quote behind every score. A recruiter makes every decision. How that compares across the field is on our AI phone screening page.
What are the best Classet alternatives on price?
Among Classet alternatives that print a price for an AI that conducts the first round, InterviewAgent.ai starts at $149 a month or $888 a year for up to 100 interviews, HappyFleet at $149 a month for 20 phone interviews with an ATS, Interviewer.AI at $199 a month, Fabric at $199 a month and Ribbon AI at $499 a month billed annually. Tenzo AI, HeyMilo and Paradox sell by quote only.
Pick on the job first. If your applicants are hourly workers who will not open a link, a phone-first tool such as Classet, HappyFleet or our agent's outbound call fits. If the role is skilled, such as an HVAC technician or a CDL driver, look for a tool that asks a follow-up when an answer about a license or a past job stays vague, and that shows you the transcript behind the score. Our high-volume hiring software page covers the volume side, and our AI interview software for construction hiring guide covers trades roles.
