Interviewer.AI pricing and Interviewer.AI cost per interview compared with 10 AI interview tools

The short answer

Interviewer.AI pricing starts at $199 a month for the Essential Edition, which includes 50 interview credits, 3 job posts a month and 15 user licenses. The Professional Edition is $399 a month for 120 credits, 5 job posts and 25 licenses, and Enterprise is quoted by sales. Billed annually they cost $1,990 and $3,990 a year. One credit buys one async video interview and two credits buy one conversational AI avatar interview, which only Professional and Enterprise include. We read every figure on interviewer.ai/pricing on October 7, 2026. That works out to $2.77 to $6.65 per interview. InterviewAgent.ai runs a scored AI first-round interview from $149 a month for up to 100 interviews.

Interviewer.AI is a Singapore-based AI video interviewing company that sells to hiring teams, staffing agencies and universities, and says more than 850 organizations across Asia, the UK, Australia and New Zealand and the US use it. It runs async one-way video interviews scored by AI and, on its higher edition, conversational interviews led by an AI avatar. It also publishes its prices, which most vendors in this category do not. We build a competing AI interview agent, so we have an interest here, and we say so up front.

A published price is not the same as a clear cost, because Interviewer.AI bills in credits and the credit cost of an interview depends on its type. This page sets out what Interviewer.AI publishes, read from its own pricing page on October 7, 2026, turns each edition into a cost per interview, and compares it with ten other AI interview and video screening tools on the same unit. Where we calculate a figure rather than quote one, we say so.

Why it works

What your team gets with Interviewer.AI pricing

HR director reviewing an interview software renewal quote next to a laptop budget sheet

Every interview is a conversation

The agent talks with each candidate by voice or video and follows up on thin answers on every plan, at one price per interview, with no double charge.

No cap on open roles

Plans count interviews and recruiter seats only, so a team opening many jobs a month does not jump a tier because of a job-post limit.

Priced in public

Plans are published at $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month, or half that billed yearly, so you can work out cost per interview before any call.

What it handles

Interviewed, scored and shortlisted on autopilot

The agent invites each applicant, runs a role-tailored screening interview by voice or video, asks smart follow-ups, scores every answer against your rubric, and advances the strongest candidates into a ranked shortlist for your recruiters to review.

  • Interviews every applicant by voice or video on the candidate's schedule
  • Asks follow-up questions when an answer is vague, on every plan
  • Scores every answer against anchors your team wrote, identically for each candidate
  • Returns a ranked shortlist with transcripts your recruiters can check in minutes
  • Costs $0.25 to $1.49 per interview on published plans, with no job-post cap

Why InterviewAgent.ai

One agent that runs the whole first round

Not a one-way video tool, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Interview, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the roles and rubric you already hire on.

Interviews every applicant

A role-tailored screening interview runs by voice or video, with smart follow-ups, on the candidate's schedule. Applicants consent and are told they are speaking with AI, so no qualified person waits days for a first call.

Scores to your rubric

Every answer is scored against the same structured rubric, with transcripts and highlights, so candidates are compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited against EEOC guidance and NYC Local Law 144.

Ranks the shortlist

The strongest candidates are advanced into a ranked shortlist your recruiters review. The agent never auto-hires or rejects, it only surfaces who to talk to next, and your team makes every decision.

Nine of the eleven vendors publish a price on their own site and two do not. Cost per included interview divides the plan price by the interviews its allowance covers and assumes you use all of it, so it is a floor, not an average. For Interviewer.AI we counted one credit per async interview and two per conversational interview, as its pricing page states. A vendor-by-vendor buying guide is in our article on Interviewer.AI alternatives.

How much does Interviewer.AI cost?

On October 7, 2026 interviewer.ai/pricing listed three editions with a Monthly and an Annual toggle. Essential, for growing teams getting started, is $199 a month. Professional, marked Recommended, is $399 a month. Enterprise, for high-volume and custom hiring, is quoted by sales on annual billing. Billed annually, Essential is $1,990 a year and Professional $3,990 a year, which the page presents as two months free against the $2,388 and $4,788 that twelve monthly payments would cost. All prices are in US dollars.

Interviewer.AI used to sell quarterly credit bundles, and several directory listings still quote figures such as $200 for 50 assessments a quarter. The help center articles that described those plans returned a not-found page when we checked on October 7, 2026, and the live pricing page lists only the monthly and annual editions above. Price from the live page, not from a listing.

  • Essential: $199 a month or $1,990 a year, 50 credits a month, 20-minute interviews, 3 job posts a month, 15 user licenses
  • Professional: $399 a month or $3,990 a year, 120 credits a month, 30-minute interviews, 5 job posts a month, 25 user licenses
  • Enterprise: custom credits and interview length, 200 job posts, 40+ user licenses, ATS integrations and a dedicated account manager
  • Extra credits: top-up packs from $150 for 50 credits, available only with an active Essential or Professional plan

How do Interviewer.AI interview credits work?

One credit pays for one completed async video interview with its assessment report. Two credits pay for one conversational AI interview, where an AI avatar talks with the candidate in real time. A credit is reserved when you send the invitation and returned if you delete a candidate who has not finished, or automatically after an invitation sits incomplete for 30 days. Unused credits roll over month to month, and on an annual plan the whole year of credits is available up front.

Retakes are where credits leak. Interviewer.AI lets you allow up to five retakes per candidate, and its pricing page says each retake is treated as a new interview and uses another credit. If you allow retakes on a busy role, budget for them, or keep them off and use the re-record-before-submit option, which does not spend a second credit.

What does one Interviewer.AI interview really cost?

Divide each edition by its credits. An async video interview costs $3.98 on Essential and $3.33 on Professional at monthly prices, or $3.32 and $2.77 billed annually. A conversational avatar interview uses two credits, so on Professional it costs $6.65 a month to month or $5.54 billed annually. Top-up credits cost $3.00 each on the smallest pack, so an extra async interview costs $3.00 and an extra conversational one $6.00. These are floors that assume you use every credit, although rollover makes unused credits less of a loss here than on plans that expire them.

For comparison, our own plans cost $1.49 per interview on Starter, $0.80 on Growth and $0.50 on Scale at monthly prices, and half that billed yearly, and every interview can be a two-way conversation by voice or video that asks follow-up questions. How each answer is scored is set out on interview scorecard software.

Which Interviewer.AI plan includes conversational AI avatar interviews?

Professional and Enterprise. Essential covers AI-scored one-way video interviews, resume screening and matching, a response relevancy score, human review and a branded application portal. Conversational AI avatar interviews, dynamic interview flows, adaptive follow-up questions, transcripts with summaries, detailed score breakdowns and interview fraud checks all start at Professional, which also gets two avatar models against eight on Enterprise.

That makes the plan choice a format choice. If a one-way recording scored by AI is enough for your roles, Essential is the cheaper ticket. If you want the AI to probe a thin answer with a follow-up, you need Professional at $399 a month, and each of those interviews costs two credits. Custom interview rubrics and custom AI avatars are listed only under Enterprise.

Does Interviewer.AI integrate with your ATS?

On Enterprise. The pricing page lists ATS integrations, naming Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters and Bullhorn, among the items Enterprise adds on top of Professional. Essential and Professional customers get bulk CSV export and PDF assessment reports, so results reach your ATS by export rather than by a live connection. A dedicated account manager, quarterly reviews and data residency options are also Enterprise items.

If your recruiters live in the ATS, that pushes a mid-size team toward a sales conversation even when the credit volume fits Professional. Ask Interviewer.AI what Enterprise costs at your volume before you compare it with self-serve tools. On our plans, ATS export starts at Growth, $399 a month for up to 500 interviews, and every plan publishes its price on our pricing page.

Does Interviewer.AI have a free trial?

Yes. Essential and Professional both start with a 14-day free trial that covers up to five AI interview assessments, and the page says your card is not charged until the trial ends. Interviewer.AI also states that it does not offer refunds, so cancel before the renewal date if the trial does not convince you.

Five interviews is a small sample, so make them count. Use one real role, send it to five real applicants, and have a recruiter score the same people by hand so you can compare rankings. If you want a scored first round to compare it against, the interview agent at the top of this page runs one on a role you name and returns the transcript, the scores and the ranking.

What are the alternatives to Interviewer.AI with published pricing?

Among AI interviewers that print a price, Ribbon AI starts at $499 a month billed annually for 100 interviews, HappyFleet at $149 a month for 20, Classet at $249 a month billed annually for 50, InterviewFlowAI at $59 for 20 credits and HireFoundry at $99 a month billed annually for 1,000 interview minutes. We start at $149 a month for 100 interviews, or $888 a year. HeyMilo and Alex do not publish a price.

If you do not need AI scoring and are happy for your team to watch recordings, Hireflix ($75 a month billed yearly) and Hirevire ($49 a month) are cheaper still, but someone has to watch every answer. A vendor-by-vendor guide is in our article on Interviewer.AI alternatives, and the wider field is on AI interview software.

How do you choose the right Interviewer.AI plan?

Start with three numbers: how many candidates you want interviewed in a normal month, how many new job posts you open each month, and whether you need conversational interviews. Job posts are capped at 3 a month on Essential and 5 on Professional, so a team opening eight roles a month outgrows both regardless of credits. If you need conversational interviews, halve the credit count before you compare plans.

Then decide on billing. Annual saves two months and gives you the full year of credits on day one, which suits seasonal hiring well because the credits wait for your peak. Monthly lets you leave after a hiring push, but with no refunds, cancel before the next renewal date rather than after it.
