Harver pricing and Harver assessment pricing compared with 9 screening tools that publish a price
The short answer
Harver does not publish a price. Its website has no plan names, no per-seat or per-candidate rate and no dollar figure, harver.com/pricing returns a 404, and every route leads to Request a Demo. Harver sells several separate products (Volume Hiring, Assessments, Video Interview, pymetrics game-based assessments, Checkster reference checks and the AI PREVAIL assessment), so a quote for one does not cover the others. Its video interviews are one-way recordings or two-way calls scored by human evaluators. We read harver.com on October 25, 2026.
Harver is an enterprise hiring platform built for volume: retail chains, BPO contact centers, banks and hospitality groups that screen thousands of applicants a month. It is best known for assessments, including personality questionnaires, cognitive ability tests, situational judgement tests, job simulations and the pymetrics games it acquired, and it adds a volume hiring workflow, a video interview product and Checkster reference checking around them.
What a buyer cannot find is a number. There is no pricing page at all, the URL returns not found, and the only commercial path is a demo request. This page sets out what Harver does publish, what its video interview format means for your recruiters' hours, and what nine screening and interview tools charge, each figure read from the vendor's own site on the date shown. We build one of those tools, an AI agent that conducts and scores the first-round interview by phone call, voice or video, so treat that as a disclosed interest.

Why it works
What your team gets with Harver pricing
A price you can read today
Plans are published at $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month, or half that billed yearly, so you can work out your cost per screened applicant before any demo.
The interview is conducted, not recorded
The agent asks the questions, follows up when an answer is thin and scores each answer, so evaluators read a ranked shortlist instead of playing back every video.
A recruiter makes the call
Every candidate reaches a person with the evidence behind each score. The agent never rejects anyone on its own.
What it handles
Interviewed, scored and shortlisted on autopilot
The agent invites each applicant, runs a role-tailored screening interview by voice or video, asks smart follow-ups, scores every answer against your rubric, and advances the strongest candidates into a ranked shortlist for your recruiters to review.
- Interviews each applicant by phone call, voice or video on the candidate's own schedule
- Says it is an AI and that the call is recorded before any question
- Asks follow-up questions when an answer stays thin, and scores every answer against your anchors
- Returns a ranked shortlist with transcripts your managers can check in minutes
- Costs about 66 cents to $1.49 per conducted interview on published plans
Why InterviewAgent.ai
One agent that runs the whole first round
Not a one-way video tool, not a six-figure assessment suite, and not a staffing agency. Interview, score, rank and hand off in one place, shaped to the roles and rubric you already hire on.
Interviews every applicant
A role-tailored screening interview runs by voice or video, with smart follow-ups, on the candidate's schedule. Applicants consent and are told they are speaking with AI, so no qualified person waits days for a first call.
Scores to your rubric
Every answer is scored against the same structured rubric, with transcripts and highlights, so candidates are compared consistently and the scoring stays bias-audited against EEOC guidance and NYC Local Law 144.
Ranks the shortlist
The strongest candidates are advanced into a ranked shortlist your recruiters review. The agent never auto-hires or rejects, it only surfaces who to talk to next, and your team makes every decision.

How much does Harver cost?
Harver does not say. There is no pricing page: harver.com/pricing returned a 404 when we checked on October 25, 2026, and the homepage, the assessment pages and the video interview page show no plan names, no monthly figure, no per-seat rate and no per-candidate rate. Every call to action is Request a Demo or Talk to an Expert.
Software directories fill the gap with estimates, and they disagree with each other on the starting figure and even on whether a free trial exists. None of the figures we found traces back to a page Harver publishes, so we do not repeat them here. The useful move is to get your own quote in writing and ask for it broken down by product and by candidate volume, because that is how the Harver cost is built.
What is Harver assessment pricing based on?
Harver sells assessments as one product line among several, so Harver assessment pricing is quoted separately from the video interview and the volume hiring workflow. The assessment catalog covers personality questionnaires, cognitive ability tests, situational judgement tests, job simulations such as a live chat support simulation, a spoken language assessment, the pymetrics game-based assessments and AI PREVAIL, which Harver describes as an AI skills, aptitude and adaptability assessment for both candidates and existing employees.
Assessment contracts in this market are usually priced on the number of candidates assessed per year and on which tests you license, so bring your annual applicant volume per role family and the specific tests you want to the first call. Ask whether unused volume rolls over, what happens when a seasonal peak exceeds the contracted number, and whether pymetrics is included or quoted on top. If you also want reference checks, Checkster is a separate product and a separate line.
Does Harver use AI to interview candidates?
No. Harver's video interview page describes recording custom questions for each position and prompting candidates to record their answers whenever their schedules allow, with two-way interview conferencing and automated scheduling as an option. It says evaluators score the responses and states there is no automated decision-making or facial and micro-expression analysis in that scoring. Nothing on the page describes an AI that asks the questions, listens, and follows up on a thin answer.
That matters for what the contract saves you. A one-way video interview removes the scheduling, because the candidate records alone. It does not remove the watching, because a person still plays back every answer and scores it. At 2,000 applicants a month with five questions each, that is 10,000 recorded answers a month for your evaluators. Tools that conduct the conversation and hand back a scored shortlist are compared on AI interviewer.
What is included in a Harver contract?
Harver lists its products separately in its navigation, which is the best guide to what a quote can contain. Ask the sales team to name each of these in the order form, because a demo of the whole platform is not a promise that every module is in your price.
- Harver for Volume Hiring, the high-volume screening and candidate workflow
- Harver Assessments: personality, cognitive ability, situational judgement, job simulations and a spoken language test
- pymetrics game-based assessments
- Harver for Video Interview, with one-way recorded answers, two-way conferencing and interview scheduling
- Checkster for reference checking
- AI PREVAIL, an AI readiness assessment for candidates and current staff
Where Harver is the better buy
Harver has real strengths and a buyer should weigh them honestly. Its assessment science is deep, it markets 35 years of assessment work and an in-house industrial and organizational psychology team, and it publishes customer results such as a 40% decrease in time to hire at Ahold Delhaize. If you are a large BPO, retailer or bank ranking thousands of applicants a month on aptitude, situational judgement and job simulations, and you want a single vendor for assessments, reference checks and video, Harver is an established route and its scale is a reason to shortlist it.
What we do differently is narrower and published. Our agent places the call from your company's own verified number between 8 am and 9 pm in the candidate's time zone, says it is an AI and that the call is recorded, asks a follow-up when an answer stays thin, and scores each answer against anchors your team wrote, with the quote behind every score. It speaks English on the phone. It does not run aptitude tests or games, and it never rejects a candidate on its own; a recruiter makes every decision. How the scoring works is on interview scorecard software.
What are the best Harver alternatives on price?
Among tools that conduct the first-round interview and print a price, InterviewAgent.ai starts at $149 a month or $888 a year for up to 100 interviews, Classet at $249 a month billed annually for 50 completed phone interviews and Ribbon AI at $499 a month billed annually for 100 voice and video interviews. Among tools that only record answers, as Harver's video interview does, Hireflix starts at $75 a month billed yearly and Spark Hire at $249 a month billed annually.
Harver vs an AI interviewer comes down to what you are trying to measure. If the job turns on aptitude or a simulated task, an assessment platform measures it better than a conversation, and you should compare Harver with other assessment vendors. If your bottleneck is that nobody has time to phone or watch every applicant before the shift starts, compare Harver alternatives that conduct and score the screen and publish what they charge. Our AI phone screening page covers the phone-first options, and Qualifi pricing covers the other big quote-only phone screen.
