The best Jobma alternative depends on which part of Jobma you are replacing. For recorded video interviews your team reviews, Hirevire (from $39 a month billed yearly), Hireflix ($75 or $150) and Spark Hire (from $249) all publish a price and do the same core job. For software that conducts the first round itself and scores the answers, compare InterviewAgent.ai (from $149 a month), Classet and HireVue. Of the nine options below, six print a price on their own site.

Jobma started as a one-way video interview tool and has grown into a full hiring platform: recorded and live video interviews, an AI Interviewer it calls agentic AI, skill and technical assessments, proctoring, scheduling and ATS integrations. It is SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certified by its own account, and its customer quotes come from staffing, healthcare and higher education. The one thing Jobma does not do is publish a price. On October 3, 2026 its pricing page was a Request Pricing form, and its FAQ said packages are built around volume, integrations and feature needs.

That is usually when buyers start comparing. This guide is for a US talent acquisition lead, HR manager or agency owner who has Jobma on a shortlist or a renewal and wants to know what else does the job and what it costs. We build one of the tools below, so treat that as a disclosed interest. Every price was read on the vendor's own site on the date shown, and where a vendor prints nothing we say so. What Jobma itself publishes is laid out on our Jobma pricing page.

What is the best alternative to Jobma?

There is no single best one, because Jobma does two different jobs and most alternatives only do one. If what you use Jobma for is recorded video screening, the closest like-for-like swaps are Spark Hire, Hireflix, Hirevire and Willo. If what you need is the AI Interviewer, software that runs the conversation, follows up and scores, then the comparison is with AI-first tools such as InterviewAgent.ai, Classet and HireVue's AI Interviewer.

Start by writing down which Jobma modules your team actually opened in the last quarter. Many teams pay for a platform and use one feature. If that feature is one-way video, you are probably overpaying. If it is assessments, see the section on assessments below, because none of the video tools replace that part well.

Cheaper alternatives to Jobma for recorded video interviews

Hirevire is the cheapest published option we found. Essentials is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly ($468 a year), for one open role at a time. Professional is $149, or $99 yearly, for up to five roles, and Agency is $249, or $199 yearly, for teams screening on behalf of several clients. Every plan keeps videos for 90 days, with an extra 90 days at $9 a month. There is a 7-day free trial with no card.

Hireflix prices by company size, not by role: $75 a month billed yearly for companies under 50 staff and $150 for 50 to 250, both with unlimited seats, positions and interview responses. That flat structure is easy to budget and hard to beat if your volume swings. Spark Hire starts at $249 a month billed annually, or $299 month to month, and its Recruit ATS plans at $335 and $499 a month include one-way video, which is worth knowing if you do not already have an ATS. Willo shows pounds by default, so switch the currency before you compare.

All four share the limitation every recording tool has. A candidate answers fixed questions into a camera and somebody on your team watches. Five 90-second answers from 300 applicants is about 37 hours of footage. The subscription is cheap; the review time is not. We compared the full field in our one-way video interview software pricing audit.

Jobma alternatives with an AI interviewer

Jobma's Autonomous AI Interviewing lets your team define the questions and evaluation parameters, then has the AI ask adaptive follow-ups, evaluate the answers and write a summary, with a recruiter able to take over mid-interview. If that is the part you value, compare it with tools built around the same idea.

InterviewAgent.ai runs the first round by voice or video on the candidate's schedule, asks a follow-up when an answer is thin, scores every answer against anchors your team wrote and returns a ranked shortlist with the transcript behind each score. Plans are $149, $399, $999 and $1,998 a month for 100, 500, 2,000 and 4,000 interviews, so an interview costs between $1.49 and about $0.50 depending on the plan. How the scoring works is on our interview scorecard software page.

Classet runs AI phone screens for frontline employers and publishes Starter at $249 a month billed annually for 50 completed interviews and Scale at $999 for 250. HireVue offers an AI Interviewer on some configurations and publishes no price. If you want the broader list, our AI interview software comparison covers the AI-first field.

What if you use Jobma for assessments?

Then a video tool alone will leave a gap. Jobma bundles technical coding tests, role-based assessments, language proficiency tests and game-based assessments, and the recorded-video alternatives above do little of that. Most teams that leave Jobma for a cheaper video tool pair it with a separate assessment product, and the two together can still cost less than a large Jobma package. Price both halves before you decide, and ask whether you actually used the assessments last year.

For technical roles specifically, a scored AI first round in front of a coding test cuts how many candidates reach the expensive step. We cover that pattern on technical screening software.

Which Jobma alternatives have fallen out of the market?

Several 2026 roundups still list tools you can no longer buy on their own. myInterview is the clearest case: on October 3, 2026 myinterview.com redirected to Radancy's screening and scheduling page, so it is now part of a larger recruitment marketing suite. Modern Hire is another, since HireVue acquired it in 2023. If a list recommends either as a standalone Jobma alternative, it has not been checked recently.

How to switch from Jobma without losing a hiring cycle

Check three things before you give notice. First, the renewal date and notice period in your Jobma order form, because many annual contracts renew automatically unless you cancel in writing 30 to 90 days before the term ends. Keep that date and the renewal uplift clause in your contract management software or calendar, not in someone's inbox. Second, export the interview recordings, scores and notes you are required to keep. Federal rules generally expect employers to retain hiring records for at least a year, and some states ask for longer. Third, confirm your ATS integration on the new tool works before the old one switches off.

Then run the new tool on one live role in parallel for two weeks. Compare its shortlist with your recruiters' own picks on the same applicants. If the overlap is good and the time saved is real, move the rest of your roles over before the Jobma term ends.

Jobma alternatives frequently asked questions

Is there a cheaper alternative to Jobma?

Yes. For recorded video interviews, Hirevire starts at $39 a month billed yearly and Hireflix at $75 a month billed yearly, both read October 3, 2026. Jobma publishes no price, so the comparison only becomes exact once you have its quote, but both are inexpensive for small and mid-size teams.

Does Jobma have an AI interviewer?

Yes. Jobma sells Autonomous AI Interviewing, which asks role-based questions with adaptive follow-ups, lets a recruiter take over a live AI interview, and evaluates answers with summaries. Ask whether it is priced separately from recorded video, because Jobma does not say.

What is the difference between Jobma and Spark Hire?

Spark Hire is a recorded and live video interviewing tool with an optional ATS and published prices from $249 a month. Jobma is a broader platform that adds an AI Interviewer, assessments and proctoring, and it prices every package by quote.

Which Jobma alternative scores the interview for you?

InterviewAgent.ai scores every answer against your rubric and returns a ranked shortlist with transcripts, from $149 a month. Classet scores AI phone screens, and HireVue scores on configurations that include its AI Interviewer. Recording tools such as Hireflix and Hirevire leave the scoring to your team.
