The best Tenzo AI alternative depends on what you need Morgan to do. If you want an AI recruiter that phones every applicant and you need a price before the demo, Classet (from $249 a month), HappyFleet (from $149) and InterviewFlowAI (from $59 plus credits) all publish one. If you already run an ATS and want scored voice or video interviews written back into it, compare InterviewAgent.ai, HeyMilo and Outhire. Of the eight alternatives to Tenzo below, four print a price on their own site.

Tenzo AI sells a complete AI recruiter. Its interviewer, Morgan, screens applicants by phone, video, WhatsApp or email around the clock, flags fake candidates using what Tenzo calls 40+ signals, books the next round and syncs everything back to your ATS. Corporate recruiting teams, staffing agencies and RPOs are the buyers its quote form names. The one thing Tenzo does not do is publish a price: on October 2, 2026 its pricing page was a quote form with no figure, and its savings calculator shows a gross saving without subtracting its own fee.

That is usually when buyers start looking around. This guide is for a US talent acquisition lead, agency owner or RPO operations manager who has Tenzo on a shortlist, or on a renewal, and wants to know what else does the same job and what it costs. We build one of the tools below, so treat that as a disclosed interest. Every price was read on the vendor's own site on the date shown, and where a vendor prints nothing we say so. What Tenzo itself publishes is set out on our Tenzo AI pricing page.

Four of the eight alternatives publish a price, and they are the four you can evaluate without a sales call. That matters more than it sounds. A team that can work out cost per completed screen on a Tuesday afternoon can bring a real number to its approval chain, while a team waiting on four quotes is still waiting three weeks later.

Which Tenzo AI alternative is cheapest per screened candidate?

InterviewFlowAI and InterviewAgent.ai are the cheapest per completed interview among vendors that publish both a price and an allowance: about 99 cents a credit on InterviewFlowAI's Growth and Scale plans, and between $1.49 and about 50 cents an interview on ours, depending on the plan. Classet works out at roughly $4.98 on Starter and $4.00 on Scale. HappyFleet runs from $7.45 on Starter down to about $2.33 on Pro.

Those numbers only compare like with like if you check what each interview includes. Classet and HappyFleet bundle an applicant tracking system, so part of the fee pays for software you may already own. InterviewFlowAI's entry plan is video only, and phone interviews start on Growth. And no vendor's monthly figure tells you whether the interview asks a follow-up when an answer is thin, which is the difference between a screen and a recorded questionnaire. A wider pricing table across twelve voice tools is in our AI phone screening software pricing guide.

Which Tenzo alternative works with the ATS we already use?

If you already run Greenhouse, Bullhorn, Lever or a similar system, pick a tool that writes into it rather than replacing it. Tenzo itself says it has 57+ integrations out of the box and shows Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Jobvite, UKG and Avionte on its homepage, so this is one of its real strengths, and any alternative should match it for your system specifically.

Classet's Enterprise plan syncs Joy into the ATS you already run, while its self-serve plans run on Classet's own ATS. HappyFleet is an ATS with an AI recruiter built in, which suits a fleet operator replacing spreadsheets and is redundant for an enterprise team. HeyMilo and Outhire integrate with common systems and quote on volume. InterviewAgent.ai exports scored results to your ATS and HRIS through an API key and a signed webhook, and the interview runs without asking anyone to change systems. Agencies weighing this for client work will find more on staffing agency software.

A practical test: ask each vendor to show a completed screen arriving in your ATS, with the score, the transcript and the stage change, not a slide describing the integration. If the result lands as a PDF attachment nobody opens, the integration is cosmetic.

Is there a Tenzo AI alternative for staffing agencies and RPOs?

Yes, and agency buyers should judge on two things that corporate teams care about less: whether one account can hold a separate rubric per client, and whether the output is something you can forward to a client as a submittal. Tenzo names agencies and RPOs as a core market, so it is a fair benchmark. Among the alternatives, Outhire sizes its plans by hiring volume, Classet offers white-label branding on Scale, and InterviewAgent.ai lets you build a team per client with its own rubric and return a ranked shortlist with transcripts.

Agencies also live with paperwork after the offer: I-9s, licenses, certifications and signed onboarding packets, often as scans and phone photos. That work sits outside an interview tool, and if it is your real bottleneck, document data extraction software that reads those files into structured fields will save more recruiter hours than switching screening vendors. For the screening side, our guide to the best AI interview software for staffing agencies compares the field on per-client rubrics and client-ready output.

Do Tenzo AI alternatives detect fake candidates?

Some do, and you should ask exactly how. Tenzo markets fraud detection using 40+ signals for misrepresentation, cheating and stolen identities, and HeyMilo now sells cheat detection as a standalone product. Outhire and InterviewAgent.ai rely on the interview itself: a live follow-up question is hard to answer from a script, and a scored transcript shows a recruiter where an answer went vague.

Whatever the vendor says, ask three things. What signals does it check, which of them need the candidate's camera or ID, and what happens to a flagged candidate. A tool that quietly rejects a flagged applicant creates a different legal exposure from one that flags the transcript for a human. Under New York City Local Law 144, any tool that substantially assists a hiring decision needs an annual independent bias audit and candidate notice, which is covered on our AI hiring compliance page.

How do you choose between Tenzo AI and its alternatives?

Start from the bottleneck, not the feature list. If recruiters lose their week to first-round calls, you need a tool that conducts the interview and scores it, and any of the voice-first options will do that. If candidates go silent between steps, scheduling and follow-up matter more than the interview. If you are replacing an ATS anyway, a bundled tool like Classet or HappyFleet can make sense. If not, pay only for the interview.

  • Count last quarter's first-round screens and the minutes each took before any demo
  • Divide every published price by the interviews it includes, and ask quote-only vendors for the same unit
  • Check that phone, video and messaging interviews are priced the same, or know the difference
  • Run one real requisition and compare the AI ranking with your recruiters' own verdict
  • Keep the scoring rubric in your own hands, whichever tool runs the interview

Tenzo remains a reasonable choice for an enterprise team that wants one vendor for screening, fraud checks, scheduling and rediscovery, and is happy to buy through a sales process. If you want the scored first round without the quote, our plans are on the pricing page, and the interview agent at the top of this article will run a scored interview on a role you name, so you can judge the output before talking to anyone.
